Melanocyte Restoration for Vitiligo

A surprisingly effective paramedical option for treating vitiligo is melanocyte restoration.

This process combines skin needling with therapeutic UV exposure to help stimulate proper melanocyte functioning so that it can once again produce pigment on its own. Since compromised melanocytes tend be slow, unpredictable, and results often uneven, camouflage tattooing can help fill in resistant areas while also providing the additional stimulation benefits through needling.
