Special needs or circumstances (medications, sensitivity, pregnant/nursing, etc.)
Are you super sensitive? Ample topical numbing solution is always used and is usually sufficient for most people. However, if you are particularly sensitive it may be helpful to take something prior to your procedure that you would normally take for discomfort. An OTC topical anesthetic such as 4% or 5% L.M.X. may also help with brows if applied an hour prior to your procedure.
Pregnant or nursing? Please make sure that you have your OBGYN or the pediatrician’s signed consent for your procedure otherwise I will not be able to work on you.
Do you have a history of allergic reactions and are concerned about how your skin might react to a cosmetic tattoo procedure? Or do you have extensive scars to camouflage and would like to observe results in a small area first before committing to a full procedure? A patch test can be performed with any consultation to provide you with additional peace of mind. A patch test fee is a minimum of $150 and is non-refundable and non-applicable to the cost of the procedure. If you opt for a patch test at the time of the consultation, the cost of the consultation will still be applied to the cost of a full procedure.
Prone to excessive bleeding? Please refrain from taking any blood thinning supplements such as fish oils and Vitamin E and discretionary blood pressure medication such as spironolactone for at least 2 weeks before your procedure as they may contribute excessive bleeding which then impedes the pigment from taking hold in the skin.
