How long does permanent lip color last?

Permanent cosmetic lip tattooing pigment typically fades in 8 to 10 years. That time would be drastically shortened with a great deal of exposure to sunlight. All tattoo pigments are sensitive to UV light, so it’s important to protect them from excessive exposure.

I’m thinking of removing my permanent eyeliner, which I’ve had for 12 years. Can you please tell me what method you use for removal? For a tattoo that is as old as mine, do you think complete removal is possible?
